Sharing Detroit’s stories of faith

The Encounter Map Project gathers two minute stories of where people have encountered God outdoors, in the streets, parks, and shared spaces of Detroit, Hamtramck, and Highland Park. Each story is set on a 360 view of the street where it happened, so people can look around from close to where you stood and hear your voice there.

Take a moment and remember a place outdoors where you encountered God. Somewhere a person could go stand today.

This version is a test. We are checking how the recording sounds and how the app feels. Feel free to offer us feedback at the end of your experience to help us make the app better.

You can take it back any time, for any reason, without explaining. Write to us, and it comes off the map, out of the podcast queue, and off the pews. If it is already in a printed book or an episode that has aired, we will tell you honestly what can and cannot be undone.
